At the onset, allow us to put it out in the open that any amount of work that we have done to reach out to travelers have always been with the singular intention to provide that extra edge to the stay in Tiger Estate. All thanks to the first many guests who stayed with us, our learnings from hosting them in the beginning of our operations have been quite unique. We had a group of families who stayed with us and appreciated us while we were still a few days young, we have also had the honor to serve a group of senior citizens, a batch of smart 100 young girls from St Mary’s School, Hisar, Haryana, and many more.
A family that spent a well-meaning time at Tiger Estate taught us the importance of going the extra-mile to make every effort to give them the privacy and at the same time, leisure of the valley with some sumptuous meals, a bonfire lit up for their evening snacks, bedside tea, clean and soft green lawn for the kids to play.
Hosting a group of guests who were also senior citizens was another immense learning curve for us. When we received a few calls from elderly gentlemen, the first query was “are there too many stairs to climb?”. Keeping this query to the core of our construction, ease of walking from one part of the resort to the other was the central idea of our design. Not only, did the group tremendously enjoyed a surprise rain dance, the valley view with healthy meals cooked to their taste preferences, we are also seeing repeat guests from this group.
The batch of 100 girls was an ambitious number we were hosting. Quite honestly, this was also our first all-girls guests and our first all-students travelers. Hosting this batch came with an entirely different energy requirement. One day spent with the girls translated into an untiring memory of trekking trip, walk along the Hule river, team building exercises, stories on Kargil war, DJ night, leisure morning of tea or milk under the sun, etc.
All of our guests have been unique and have added so much to our learning that without their appreciation and encouragement, each developing success story would not have been possible. This is why it is very important to enrich this bond of human connection for us. They have given us more memories than they might have created from us by staying at Tiger Estate. The richness of this human connection, this is what makes hospitality special. This is what makes Tiger Estate special.
